While keeping his main job as sports director of KLRT in Little Rock, Sports Director Wess Moore is joining another lineup.

KABZ-FM, The Buzz, announced Thursday that the five-year fixture on TV's Fox 16 will be lending his voice to "The Zone," joining another former TV sports veteran, Justin Acri, and producer Matt Travis on the 10 a.m. daily talk program.

Moore, who has covered Arkansas sports for 15 years and was named Arkansas Sportscaster of the Year for 2016 by the National Sports Media Association, succeeds longtime "Zone" host Pat Bradley. A KABZ fixture since 2007, Bradley recently returned to his hometown, Boston.

Moore will start with the station on Monday.

"We're really going to miss Pat daily in 'The Zone,' but certainly understand the draw of family and your hometown," Acri said, noting that Bradley will continue as a featured contributor to the station from afar.

Moore, a graduate of Texas State University, got his TV reporting start in Oklahoma and has worked at stations in Louisiana and his native Texas. "I'm excited to be joining such a successful sports talk radio station with a rich history in Arkansas," Moore said in a news release. "I look forward to being a part of 'The Zone' with Justin Acri, who's created an entertaining, smart show engaging sports fans on all levels. I truly believe we share the same passion for our jobs."

Moore previously hosted "Game On," a sports talk program on KKSP-FM, 93.3.
