It’s the most wonderful time of the year — for corporate gift-giving, that is. If I’d been real organized, I could easily have devoted an entire column to suggestions for food and food-related gifts from Arkansas. But I wasn’t real organized.
What I will say is that Arkansas has some excellent sources for gifts of food and drink originating in the state, many of which you’ve read about in these pages. I can personally vouch for (as in I’ve happily bought and consumed and will again) Izard Chocolate, Cocoa Belle chocolates, Juanita’s Candy Kitchen nut brittle, Leiva’s Coffee, Wicked Mix and J&M Foods cheese straws and cookies.
Arkansas food writer Kat Robinson has suggestions for food gift ideas on her blog, Tie Dye Travels With Kat Robinson. And advertising sensei (it’s good to learn new words) Natalie Ghidotti just released Ghidotti Communications’ The Arkansas 100: Corporate Gift Guide.
Consider sharing some of the best of Arkansas this Christmas.
