UCA Names Tapley New Deputy Police Chief (Movers & Shakers)

William Tapley is the new deputy police chief at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.

Tapley joins the UCA department after serving 22 years with the Conway Police Department. He is a certified law enforcement professional instructor and a graduate of the FBI National Academy.


William Ogles has joined his father at Ogles Law Firm in Jacksonville as an associate attorney.

Ogles received his Juris Doctor from the Bowen School of Law in Little Rock and was admitted to the Arkansas bar earlier this year. His practice will focus on personal injury, criminal defense and family law.


Jim Andrews Jr. is the newest counsel at PPGMR Law’s El Dorado office.

Andrews previously worked at Deltic Timber Corp. in El Dorado for 17 years, most recently as vice president, general counsel and secretary. He received his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University School of Law in Dallas and was recently appointed to serve a term as a commissioner of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission.
