Agri properties in Monroe and Lonoke counties, a Conway motel and a North Little Rock animal hospital form this week’s quartet of million-dollar transactions.

► Big R Lands LLC, led by Marc Holmes, bought a 358-acre farming-hunting spread about 4 miles northwest of Roe for $1.8 million and renamed it Limp Duck Hunting Club & Lodge.

Seller: McFadin Holdings LLC, led by Sam McFadin.

(Yes, this is the same Sam McFadin who recently filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization and has ties to the failed John Daly Steakhouse in Conway.)

The Big R property, across state Highway 33 from the famed 14,000-acre Wingmead farming and hunting estate created by Edgar Monsanto Queeny in neighboring Prairie County, was leased for six years by Sysco Foods prior to McFadin entering the ownership picture in 2015.

► Over in Lonoke County, Big R sold a 260-acre farm for $1.1 million to Back Porch Farms LLC, led by Robert and Mary Schmitt.

The farmland is on the north side of state Highway 161 across from the England Country Club, nearly 3 miles west of England

► Apex Procurement LLC, led by Rocky Govind, purchased the Super 8 Motel at 2430 Sanders Road in Conway for more than $1.5 million.

Seller? Balke & Balke Investments Inc., led by Max Balke.

► Hunter Properties LLC, led by Dean Hunter, sold the After Hours Animal Hospital and Premier Boarding Kennel project at 290 Smokey Lane in North Little Rock for more than $1.2 million.

Buyer: Terravet AH Little Rock LLC of Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania.
