PAM Transport Inc. of Tontitown is moving one of its divisions, but it won’t have to go very far.

PAM paid nearly $890,000 for a 11,000-SF office building conveniently located next to its headquarters at 309 W. Henri de Tonti Blvd. President and CEO Dan Cushman said the company hopes to move its logistics division into the building by February 2019, after renovations.

The building was once home to The Right Solutions, a nurse staffing agency. TRS has since moved to new digs a few blocks farther west in Tontitown.

Whispers visited PAM’s logistics department a couple of years ago for a story and it was a tight fit: 25 employees were squeezed into a makeshift space carved out in the back of the headquarters. Now the whole division will have more elbow room.

“We are moving our Logistics division there, and making a real nice driver lounge,” Cushman said in a text message.

PAM bought the property from David and Diana Wright of Siloam Springs. They acquired the property for $195,000 in 1999; three years ago PAM bought a 1-acre lot on the other side of its headquarters from the Wrights for $375,000.

Diana Wright is the founder and owner of The Right Solutions, which was an Arkansas Business of the Year finalist in 2008. Wright was named ABOY Executive of the Year in 2009. The Right Solutions is now called TRS Healthcare.
