Alessi Keyes Construction Co. of North Little Rock has two new owners, Bob Butler and Charley Dawson, and they will help Co-Founder Jimmy Alessi manage the firm.

Butler will serve as president, and Charley Dawson will serve as vice president on its board of directors. Before, the board was composed of Alessi and Co-Founder Cloud Keyes.

Alessi, with 48 years of experience in construction, will serve as the CEO and chairman of the board. He is also an owner of the business that was established in 1993.

Keyes recently retired after a 50-year career in construction and was inducted into the Arkansas Construction Hall of Fame in April. He will no longer be involved in the business, Alessi said.

"Cloud and I have been partners for 25 years, and he retired, and I bought him out. Bob and Charley have bought in to the company. So we have new management structure. Other than that, we're going to try to keep things the same," he noted.

Butler and Dawson bring more than 20 years of experience in the industry to the company's board. They've worked at Alessi Keyes for the past seven or eight years, Alessi added.

He also said, "Bob is marketing. Charley is the project management/estimating side. They've been excellent. They've been great here and really beneficial. They've done a lot of good stuff for us."
