Women's Foundation Names Three New Board Members

The Women's Foundation of Arkansas announces Wednesday the election of three new members to its board of directors: Katherine Berry, Yolanda Hughes and Kim Lane.

Berry is senior advisor for advancement, an adjunct professor and married to Trey Berry, president of Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia. She previously served on the Ouachita Baptist University Education Advisory Board, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Higher Educational Alumni Advisory Board and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Graduate Education Advisory Board. Berry has also volunteered in public schools throughout the state, as well as with several arts organizations.

Hughes, of Maumelle, is the long-time owner and operator of RSVP Catering. She bought the company in 2003 after working there as an employee.

Lane is CEO of the Conductor, a public-private partnership between the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and Startup Junkie Consulting which focuses on innovation, entrepreneurship and economic empowerment in central Arkansas. She also serves as director of Global Entrepreneurship Week Central Arkansas, founder and director of Startup Grind Central Arkansas and regional director of 1 Million Cups. Lane is on the board of directors for Junior Achievement of Arkansas and on the Arkansas Fellowship Board.
