Shawnie Carrier Joins Jetton General Contracting

Jetton General Contracting Inc. of Paragould said Wednesday that Shawnie Carrier had joined the company as director of strategic development.

Carrier most recently worked for O'Reilly Hospitality Management as business development sales manager for the Embassy Suites Red Wolf Convention Center on the campus of Arkansas State University. Before that, she was executive director of the Delta Center for Economic Development and as chief of staff to the chancellor at A-State.

Jetton General Contracting is an independent general contractor.

Carrier's economic experience includes serving as president and CEO of the Arkadelphia Regional Economic Development Alliance and Area Chamber of Commerce. She is a graduate of the Institute for Organization Management through the U.S. Chamber of Commerce; the IEDC Economic Development Institute at theUniversity of Oklahoma; the Harvard Kennedy School; and Leadership Arkansas.
