Southern Bancorp Selects Community Relations Leaders (Movers & Shakers)

LaRay White and Brooke Beck have been promoted to community relations leaders for Southern Bancorp in Little Rock. White will be representing Blytheville and Beck will be serving Arkadelphia in their new roles.

White has been with Southern Bancorp since 2005 and is active in the Blytheville community, where she currently serves on the Blytheville Public School Parental Involvement Committee and often teaches financial literacy to students.

Beck has been with Southern Bancorp since 2006. She is involved in the Clark County community, serving as treasurer of the Downtown Arkadelphia Network board of directors and as a member of the Clark County Farmers’ Market board of directors.


Chris Furnell has joined United Arkansas Federal Credit Union in Little Rock as the vice president for member experience.

Furnell previously served as branch manager and assistant vice president-regional manager for Arkansas Federal Credit Union in Jacksonville.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee.
