William Willis Appointed to Caddo Mountain Spring Water Board

Caddo Mountain Spring Water LLC has appointed William Willis, president of Willis Mineral Resources Consulting LLC of Hot Springs, to its advisory board. The bottled water company is based in Hot Springs Village.

Willis’ appointment is effective immediately. He is the sixth to join the board in the past nine months.

He is founder and principal of Willis Mineral Resources Consulting. Before that, Willis served as manager of southern minerals for Weyerhaeuser Co. in Hot Springs from 1983 to 2016. 

Before joining Weyerhaeuser, he worked as a professional geologist for several other companies, including Stephens Production Co. of Fort Smith.

He serves on the University of Arkansas Geosciences External Advisory Board and has been a board member since 2005. He was that board’s chairman for three years. He is also an Arkansas Geological Survey commissioner and vice chairman of its board.

Willis received a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in geology from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
