Greater Bentonville Chamber Names Travis Stephens VP

Travis Stephens will join the Greater Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce as its vice president of operations, effective March 18.

He is leaving his position as director of economic development for the city of Bella Vista.

Stephens built and managed economic development programs in Clarksville as well, as CEO of the Clarksville-Johnson County Chamber of Commerce and president of the Clarksville Regional Economic Development Organization.

He also led the creation of a young professionals group in Fort Smith.  

Stephens earned his master's degree in community and economic development from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and his bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma's Economic Development Institute and UCA's Community Development Institute as well.
