Pinnacle Hotel Group Sues Over Spa City Suites SaleLock Icon

A would-be $3.6 million hotel sale in Hot Springs has given rise to a breach of contract lawsuit.

Little Rock’s Pinnacle Hotel Group Inc. and its Spa City Hospitality LLC affiliate sued to enforce the intended acquisition of the 84-room Baymont Suites & Inn at 5321 Central Ave.

Pinnacle Hotel Group and Spa City Hospitality, both led by Chet Patel, claim DT&G Hotels LLC failed to honor its agreement to sell the property on June 14.

The plaintiffs also seek damages and costs from the limited liability company owned by the David Terry Landers Trust.

The attorney for DT&G, Joey Price, couldn’t be reached for comment.

Pinnacle and Spa City claim they were ready willing and able to close on June 14. Prior to that, the initial closing date of March 15 was extended to May 9, again to June 11 and finally to June 14.
