Dr. Senushi O’Sullivan has joined Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville as a hospitalist.
She earned her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed the Great Plains Family Medicine Residency program in Oklahoma City. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Terry Lawson, safety and emergency manager at Washington Regional, has been elected to the Arkansas Department of Health’s Hospital Preparedness Program as co-leader of the northwest region.
Lawson earned an applied science degree in fire protection from Garland County Community College and is certified as a health care safety professional by the International Board for Certification of Safety Managers.
Dave Santoemma has been hired as associate administrator at Saline Health System in Benton, and Julie Hopkins has been hired as nursing director for the fifth floor.
Santoemma was previously director of physician relations and business development at Sovah Health in Martinsville, Virginia.
Hopkins, a registered nurse since 2005, completed a bachelor’s degree in nursing through Western Governors University in 2017. She previously served as a corporate educator for Mercy System.
Dr. Akash Mukherjee has joined the stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy program at UAMS.
After graduating from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India, Mukherjee completed his residency in internal medicine at Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., and he completed two fellowship programs in Houston, at Houston Methodist Hospital and at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
