Best Places to Work: CaseStack LLC

Founded in 1999, CaseStack, a Hub Group company, provides a full range of logistics services and is the leading provider of retail freight consolidation programs.

City: Fayetteville
Employees: 298
Industry Type: Transportation

Maintaining open lines of communication among employees is paramount to the CaseStack leadership, which participates regularly in an open forum called “Coffee Talk.” These talks allow CaseStack President Dan Sanker a chance to visit with employees in person or by video to provide company news and answer questions.

CaseStack offers free snacks, fruit, and fountain drinks for employees daily and provides regular lunches, catered or cooked by various departments. The monthly catered lunches from local restaurants give employees an opportunity to come together, socialize and enjoy some great food.

CaseStack’s Fayetteville office is located along a multi-use trail, frequented by employees for walking, running and biking. CaseStack also has flexible work hours to accommodate the needs of families.

PERK:
CaseStack holds a Vendor Fair on its premises where a few local businesses will come and offer discounts for services or products to the employees.

CaseStack is always looking for opportunities to help the community. Employees provide Christmas gifts to children in the area through the Salvation Army. Boxes of food for Thanksgiving meals, including a frozen turkey with all the trimmings, are provided by CaseStack for those in need.

Whether it’s the annual crawfish boil, Razorback Kickoff Tailgate Party or Razorback Fan Day, employees look forward to the many events CaseStack provides for the team and the community.

As a younger company, but with employees now approaching longer tenures, CaseStack honors those at their 10- and 15-year anniversaries with a gift card, off-site lunch with key department team members and a special desk plaque.

Anniversary cards are mailed for appreciation of employees’ work and dedication. Birthday cards are also mailed, with a lottery ticket included. CaseStack posts names of those celebrating their anniversary and birthday so colleagues can congratulate them and wish them well.

DID YOU KNOW? Every other non-payroll week, a CaseStack department will host Poor Man’s Friday in which it is given a budget to provide a morning, lunch or afternoon snack.
