Boch Brings Disability Experience to PPGMR Law (Movers & Shakers)

Caroline R. Boch has joined the team at PPGMR Law in Little Rock.

Boch was a law clerk for U.S. District Judge D. Price Marshall Jr. of the Eastern District of Arkansas.

She previously had been an attorney for Disability Rights Arkansas, presidential management fellow for the U.S. Social Security Administration and a paralegal for Children’s Rights of New York.


Ashlie Hilbun has been promoted to senior vice president and chief strategy officer of Arkansas Children’s Inc., leading planning efforts, advancing business strategy and overseeing strategic marketing for the state’s only pediatric health system. Hilbun’s promotion follows three years of leadership with the Arkansas Children’s Foundation, where she most recently served as vice president of philanthropy, co-leading the system’s overall fundraising strategy and crafting external messaging and storytelling.

In the chief strategy officer position, Hilbun will also be responsible for new business development and outreach focused on advancing child health initiatives. Hilbun will work closely with Arkansas Children’s President and CEO Marcy Doderer, senior leadership and the system’s board of directors to implement Arkansas Children’s strategic goals and objectives.

Hilbun has also served as a senior development officer and executive director of philanthropy for Arkansas Children’s Foundation. Before joining the Arkansas Children’s team, she led development and external relations for the University of Arkansas’ Fulbright College of Arts & Sciences, where she coordinated strategic program development with leadership philanthropy and advocacy. Hilbun has a doctorate in education from the University of Arkansas and a master’s in social work from Tulane University. She is also a graduate of Centenary College of Louisiana in Shreveport.


Dr. Erick Schuermann, an anesthesiologist, has joined St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Schuermann earned a master’s degree in health administration and a medical degree from A.T. Still University in Kirksville, Missouri. He completed his anesthesiology residency at Northeast Regional Medical Center along with a rotating internship in Kirksville. Schuermann previously worked with NEA Baptist and Kirksville Anesthesia Associates as a staff anesthesiologist.
