Arcia Accepts VP, CFO Roles at University of the Ozarks (Movers & Shakers)

Gloria M. Arcia has been named vice president for finance and chief financial officer at the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville.

She was previously dean of business affairs for the south campus and partnership centers of Broward College in Pembroke Pines, Florida.


Chris Brown, a certified public accountant at Landmark PLC in Fort Smith, was selected for the inaugural class of Arkansas Tech University’s 19 of the Last 9, which recognizes alumni who have graduated in the last nine years who have made an impact as an emerging leader in their professions and communities.

Robin Myers, chancellor of Arkansas State University-Mountain Home, has been named Pacesetter of the Year for District 4 of the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations, which includes Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado and Wyoming. He will be recognized at the group’s annual meeting in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
