Dr. Bhawna Jha has joined the Department of Neurology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.
Jha is an interventional pain management specialist.
She was a pain physician at Corda Pain Institute in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, and was an associate medical director at AIM Specialty Health, where she worked in utilization management. She is a graduate of Pt. J.L.N.M. Medical College in Raipur, India, and trained in psychiatry at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. Jha completed her residency in neurology at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Pennsylvania and her fellowship in interventional pain in the Department of Anesthesia at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.
Dr. Alok Surana has joined the team at Conway Regional Health System.
Surana, a pulmonologist, is practicing alongside Dr. Rachana Yendala, a hematologist and oncologist.
Surana completed his pulmonology and critical care fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed his internal medicine residency at Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians.
Dr. Christopher Baranyk is a new member of the North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Eureka Springs.
Baranyk brings more than a decade of health care experience to the NARMC team. He is wound care-certified by the National Alliance of Wound Care & Ostomy. He is also certified in advanced and basic cardiac life support. He currently serves in the U.S. Army as a lieutenant colonel.
