Rick Rogala to Lead Memphis TV StationsLock Icon

Whispers devotees may recall that Bespoke Media Group LLC is now out of its riverside studios in Little Rock and in the hands of Creative Director Michael Dunn.

It turns out former CEO Rick Rogala has departed Little Rock for Memphis — and a return to his old career in broadcasting.

The former Nexstar Media Group executive has signed on as president and general manager of Tegna’s ABC affiliates in Memphis, WATN-24 and WLMT-30.

(As you may have seen in last week’s Real Deals, Rogala and his wife, Sharon, also sold their west Little Rock home for $624,000 recently, up from the $571,000 they paid in 2016.)

Rogala, a Nexstar senior vice president before heading Bespoke, a content and technology company, worked closely with WATN when it was a Nexstar property. He didn’t respond to requests for comment, but he did speak to Dunn, who told Whispers he was surprised that Rogala was leaving town but supportive.

“I was hoping to continue working with him on the health side,” said Dunn, who is carrying on the Bespoke name and still working with clients. “He did say Mike Heald was moving forward with the health media” side of Bespoke, Dunn said.
