Jeffrey D. Cass has been named dean of the College of Arts & Humanities at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville.
Cass’ previous administrative experience includes service as dean of the University of Louisiana-Monroe College of Arts & Sciences from 2007-12 and as associate provost at Texas A&M International University from 2003-07.
Les Smith has been hired as the new chief business strategy officer for the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education in Fort Smith.
Smith was previously executive vice president and loan manager for Arvest Bank in Fort Smith.
