Another eminent domain case associated with future improvements to Highway 10/Cantrell Road in west Little Rock has hit the court docket.

The Arkansas State Highway Commission is buying a 1.09-acre strip of land in front of the 12,600-SF S-R Plaza at 11700 Cantrell Road for the disputed price of $724,900.

The sellers challenging that valuation are S-R Plaza LLC, led by Dickson Flake; LAF Brothers Properties LLC, led by Stephen and Jason LaFrance; K&D Huchingson LLLP, led by Kevin Huchingson; and Jayhawk Holdings LLC, led by Joe Cartwright.

The case also encompasses a temporary construction easement on a 0.39-acre parcel valued at $41,475 and permanent drainage easement on 98 SF valued at $1,200.
