► Bradford Estates LLC, led by Ryan Aclin, Jeff Aclin and Jarod Puckett, bought its self-named 141-unit complex at 6310 Col. Glenn Road in Little Rock for nearly $4.6 million.
Seller: Alexander Apartments LLC, led by Jason Bolden.
You might recall that Bolden engaged in a long-running financial dispute with the city of Little Rock that went all the way to the Arkansas Supreme Court.
He won a $432,744 judgment for damages caused by the city’s attempted shutdown of the project for building code violations.
Bolden took on the neglected property in March 2014 and was working to bring all of the units up to snuff.
However, the city grew frustrated with his progress and tried to close the project and force tenants to move a week before Christmas 2015.
That action resulted in revenue loss, although Bolden was able to keep the apartments open throughout the ongoing court action that concluded three months ago.
The ruling by the Supreme Court upheld Bolden’s contention that the city had violated his due-process rights.
► Peel River LLC, an affiliate of Madden Materials of Minden, Louisiana, sold construction material plants at 7 Collins Industrial Drive in North Little Rock and 2214 Redmond Road in Jacksonville for $1.1 million.
Buyer: Central Concrete LLC, led by Jeff Heslep.
