Dr. Edward Kramer has joined the CHI St. Vincent Neurology Clinic in Hot Springs.
Kramer is a neurologist with more than 20 years of experience, including in the electromyography specialty. Electromyography is a diagnostic procedure to assess the health of the muscles and of nerve cells that control them.
Dr. Jill Flaxman has been appointed medical director of perioperative services at CHI St. Vincent in Little Rock.
Flaxman brings both administrative and physician perspectives to her new position, with experience in clinical practice, managed care, quality improvement and health care information technology.
Leon Catlett of Little Rock and state Rep. Vivian Flowers, D-Pine Bluff, are among 11 new members of the Boozman College of Public Health Advisory Board at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. The other new advisory board members are Beverly Foster, Beverly Foti, Drew Kumpuris, Marilyn Porter and James W. Wallis, all of Little Rock; Bess Heisler Ginty of Forrest City; Jerry Martin of North Little Rock; Paige Newman of Longville, Louisiana; and Alan Perlman of Fayetteville.
