Ben Kutylo has been named executive director of Forward Arkansas in Little Rock.
Kutylo is a cofounder of Fremont Street, a national nonprofit that supports innovation in public schools, and most recently served as its executive director. In his new position, Kutylo will work to support innovation to improve education and career outcomes for all students in Arkansas.
Andrew M. Braxter has been named director of church outreach by the Office for Church Relations at Harding University in Searcy, effective Aug. 10. Braxter currently serves as a minister at Rose City Community Church of Christ in North Little Rock.
Maj. Bill Mockabee, Maj. Stephanie Mockabee and Lt. Timothy Morrison have been hired as the new area commanders of the Salvation Army Central Arkansas Area Command in Little Rock.
The Mockabees were ordained as officers of the Salvation Army after being commissioned in 2005 as the part of the Preparers of the Way Session. Morrison has served in church leadership with the Baptist Church and joined the Salvation Army in 2001.
William C. “Bill” Mann III has been honored by the Arkansas Bar Association with the outstanding lawyer humanitarian award in recognition of his humanitarian services. Mann currently serves with the Arkansas Municipal League in Little Rock.
Bryant Dooly is now chief operating officer at Methodist Village Senior Living in Fort Smith. Dooly has more than 35 years of experience in accounting and operational and financial management.
A native of Fort Smith, Dooly most recently served as chief financial officer of Solomon Corp. of Solomon, Kansas. Other past positions Dooly has held include president of the Southside Rotary, board member of Mercy Fort Smith, board member of the Western Arkansas Ballet and board member of Methodist Village Senior Living.
Chase Haynes, a certified public accountant with Landmark CPAs in Little Rock, was one of 30 CPAs honored by the American Institute of CPAs. Haynes will be a member of the leadership academy’s 12th graduating class in October.
