Mangan Holcomb, Team SI Announce New Company Structure

2 min read

Mangan Holcomb Partners and its sister company, Team SI, announced on Thursday what they called a more integrated, co-branded operating structure and website showcasing the firms’ services.

MHP of Little Rock first partnered with Team SI of Little Rock in 2010, to offer what it calls “TraDigital” services, a mix of marketing approaches. The new co-branded website is mhpteamsi.com.

Under the new arrangement, Sharon Tallach Vogelpohl assumes a new title as CEO of MHP/Team SI, and she and partners David Rainwater and Chip Culpepper will still own MHP, Vogelpohl told Arkansas Business Thursday morning.

Team SI Founder Tim Whitley’s title will be CEO and chief innovation officer “of the MHP/Team SI Family of Companies,” Vogelpohl said, calling Mangan Holcomb/Team SI “the mothership.” Vogelpohl herself will be president of the family of companies, “providing counsel and contacts across the board alongside Tim.”

Vogelpohl said Whitley would “bring vision and innovation to all companies across the board,” and work on creating new companies. “None of the ownership has changed,” she added. “Chip, David and I still own MHP.  MHP and Tim still own Team SI, and controlling interest in the subsidiary companies.”

Vogelpohl is the longtime president of MHP and Team SI, and her new titles are part of the new operating structure.

Rainwater, who has served MHP as CEO for 10 years and been with the firm for 32 years, will focus on certain clients, strategic planning and mentorship across the company, according to a news release.

“Timing is everything,” he said in a statement. “We placed ourselves ahead of the industry evolution with our strategic partnership with Team SI in 2010, and 2020 is the perfect time to position ourselves to continue to fuel our incredible momentum.”

He cited “dozens of new clients and team members,” new platforms and services, and the company’s satellite offices. “We’ve led together for 25 years and we will continue to collaborate as closely as we always have.”

Culpepper will continue as chief creative officer. Lannie Byrd will be chief operating officer, and Alex Hood has been named chief technology officer. MHP/Team SI employs more than 130 people, according to the companies.
