Arkansas Business and the Best Companies Group last week honored 47 Arkansas companies with Best Places to Work awards, which honor firms that have exceptional workplace environments.

Among the winners was Phigenics of Fayetteville, which received the Benchmark Award, given to the company whose workplace goes above and beyond in offering employee benefits, professional development programs and other perks.

Based in Naperville, Illinois, Phigenics helps facility owners and managers develop and implement comprehensive water management programs.

Through its programs and initiatives, Phigenics offers flexible work schedules, individual autonomy and attractive benefits and compensation packages. It offers a company-provided dependent care reimbursement of up to $3,000 a year for employees with children under 8. And amid COVID-19, its changed its policies to allow employees to take out additional money for 401(k) loans and distributions, and has allowed changes to FSA plans and more flexibility in regard to time off.
