David L. Jones, a partner at Wright Lindsey Jennings in Little Rock, has been selected as the 2020 recipient of the Defense Research Institute Davis Carr Outstanding Committee Chair Award.
Jones received the award for his work as chair of the construction law committee. Jones has been a member of DRI since 2008. He became chair of the construction law committee in October 2019.
Michael Mayton has been recognized with the Arkansas Arts Center Winthrop Rockefeller Memorial Award. The Rockefeller Award, presented each year, honors those who serve and support the arts and the Arkansas Arts Center above and beyond the normal call of duty.
Mayton is the senior partner of Mayton Newkirk and Jones, a law firm with offices in Little Rock and West Memphis.
