Dr. Bethany Knight and Kristie Branscum have joined Baxter Regional Health System Hometown Clinic at Calico Rock.
Knight earned her medical degree from UAMS. She completed her internal medicine internship at North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem and her internal medicine residency at University Hospital in Little Rock.
Branscum, an advanced practice registered nurse, received her undergraduate degree and her advanced practice nursing degree from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.
Dr. Brian Lawton has joined Unity Health in Searcy as an otolaryngologist.
Lawton specializes in the treatment of tonsillitis, hearing loss, ear infections, vocal cord disorders, thyroid disorders, allergic rhinitis and sinusitis.
Dr. Lensey Scott has joined Baptist Health in Conway as a cardiologist.
Scott received his medical degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee and completed his residency through the internal medicine residency program at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville. He also completed several fellowships at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson and Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center in Detroit.
Dr. Jeff Alliston and Dr. Raj Nangunoori have joined Mercy Clinic Neurosurgery in Rogers.
Alliston earned his medical degree from the University of Texas at Houston Medical School. He completed his residency in urology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.
Nangunoori earned his medical degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia. He completed a fellowship in functional neurosurgery and a residency in neurosurgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. He also completed a fellowship in minimally invasive and complex spine surgery and 3D navigation at Weill-Cornell Brain & Spine Center in New York.
Erin Roberts has joined Washington Regional Urgent Care in Fayetteville as an APRN. Roberts has been with Washington Regional for more than two years, previously serving as a registered nurse and most recently as a clinical nurse manager at Washington Regional’s COVID-19 screening clinic.
Amanda Potter has joined Washington Regional in Fayetteville, also as an APRN. Potter has been with Washington Regional for more than two years and previously was a registered nurse in the emergency department.
Dr. Heather Williams has been hired as a gynecologic oncologist at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She specializes in the treatment of women with gynecologic cancer, including surgery and chemotherapy for ovarian, uterine, cervical, vaginal and vulvar cancers. She is also an assistant professor in the UAMS College of Medicine Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Scott Pittillo has been elected chairman of the Jefferson Regional board of directors of Pine Bluff. Pittillo is president of Relyance Bank. He has been a board member of Jefferson Regional for nine years and previously was a member of the Jefferson Hospital Association.
Daniel Robinson and Dr. Steven Wright have been selected as new board members of Jefferson Regional. Robinson is the community president of Simmons Bank, and Wright is a nephrologist who practices at the UAMS Family Practice Center in Pine Bluff.

Dr. Melissa Kizilos has joined Arkansas Blue Cross & Blue Shield as corporate medical director for BlueAdvantage national accounts.
Kizilos is board-certified in internal medicine and has held several positions in the medical field.
