Sara Jones and Leanne Lefler have been inducted as fellows in the American Academy of Nursing.
Jones and Lefler are both associate professors at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Nursing in Little Rock.
Jones and Lefler are the only two registered nurses from Arkansas chosen for the 2020 class.
Xiuzhen Huang, Emily Bellis, Jason Causey and Jake Qualls have been appointed as affiliate faculty of the Center for No-Boundary Thinking at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.
Huang, the center director, is a professor of computer science and an Arkansas Research Alliance scholar. Bellis, Causey and Qualls will be associate directors and division leads. Bellis is research assistant professor of bioinformatics.
