Dana Watkins has been named senior vice president of First Security Bank in Jonesboro, while Seth Williams has been named vice president and Kathy Gardner, Alex Beasley and Will Edwards have all been named assistant vice presidents.
Before being named SVP, Watkins managed the bank’s real estate central loan processing department.
Williams was a trust officer for four years at First Security. Gardner provided personalized service to customers as a commercial loan processor and manages additional responsibilities in accounts payable and human resources for First Security.
Beasley served as loan officer at the main banking center. In 2018, Edwards joined First Security as a management trainee and was named loan officer later that year.

Brent Black has succeeded Mark Roberts as president of Malvern National Bank.
Black, who previously was the bank’s chief financial officer, was named “Bank CFO of the Year” in 2019 by Arkansas Business and has been a member of Arkansas Business’ “40 Under 40” and “Leadership Arkansas.”
Roberts retired as president in December but continues to serve MNB as a business development consultant.
Frank Grigsby has been promoted by Capital CDC in Clarksville to business development officer. Grigsby has been with Capital CDC for two years and has 17 years of experience in the banking industry.
Clint O’Neal has completed the International Economic Development Council’s Certified Economic Developer program. O’Neal is the executive vice president of global business of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission in Little Rock.
