Adam Mitchell’s promotion to chief executive officer of Citizens Bank in Batesville was effective April 1, three months earlier than originally announced. He succeeded Phil Baldwin, whose planned retirement was announced in August.
Mitchell, who has 23 years of experience in the banking industry, previously served as the vice president and chief retail officer of Simmons Bank of Pine Bluff.
Marnie Oldner has been appointed to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation’s Advisory Committee on Community Banking.
Oldner is the CEO and director of Stone Bank in Mountain View. She has been with the bank since 2011. Before joining the banking industry, Oldner was a public accountant for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Debbie Gipson and Kayo Gonzalez have been named senior vice president, Matthew Hodges has been named vice president and Greg Heller has been named assistant vice president and loan officer for Chambers Bank, headquartered in Danville.
Gipson ensures that the bank meets the legal and regulatory requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act and the USA Patriot Act. She also manages the bank’s training program and deposit advertising compliance.
Gonzalez monitors the bank’s participation in the Community Reinvestment Act. She also serves as an internal specialist in lending compliance.
As IT manager, Hodges is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bank’s information technology department, including the management of hardware, software and online security.
Heller has extensive experience in commercial lending, portfolio management and credit analysis and will assist customers in northwest Arkansas with commercial loans.
Kimberly Crow has been hired as a closing agent at Attorney’s Title Group in Little Rock.
Crow has been in the closing business for five years. Attorney’s Title Group focuses on residential and commercial real estate closings.
