JBU Designates New Deans (Movers & Shakers)

Keith Jagger will serve as dean of Christian formation, Juan Rodriguez will serve as dean of residence life and Emily Moore as dean of student care at John Brown University in Siloam Springs.

All three will start their new positions on July 1.

Jagger will supervise the chapel program and pastoral ministry to students and staff and lead the Office of Christian Formation in the execution of broader campus programming.

Rodriguez will supervise hall staff, hall programming, housing processes, communication of community expectations, management of the campus conduct process and student activities.

Moore will be responsible for traditional undergraduate student care, including managing the Student Counseling Center and collaborative oversight of Health Services, the Career Development Center and orientation programming.

Patricia A. Cowan, dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, has been presented a Citation of Merit by Sinclair School of Nursing at the University of Missouri-Columbia, her alma mater. The award is presented to alumni who demonstrate outstanding leadership, meritorious service and outstanding achievement.
