Simmons Bank Gathers Weight in Volunteer State

Simmons Bank Gathers Weight in Volunteer State

By some measurements, Tennessee will rival Missouri as the second-largest market for Simmons Bank after its pending acquisitions of Landmark Community Bank in Collierville and Triumph Bank in Memphis.

The Pine Bluff-based lender’s deposit total in Missouri tops $3.6 billion.

The addition of deposits at Landmark and Triumph could push Simmons’ Tennessee total to more than $3.7 billion.

The two banks hold a combined $1.5 billion in deposits and operate 12 full-service offices. The inclusion of these locations would expand Simmons’ Tennessee footprint to 45 compared with 48 in Missouri.
