Leadership Academy to Feature Sam’s Club Exec, UA Athletics Director

Megan Crozier, chief merchant for Sam’s Club, and University of Arkansas Vice Chancellor for Athletics Hunter Yurachek are among the featured speakers for the fall Arkansas Business Executive Leadership Academy in Bentonville.

Leaders throughout the state from the business, nonprofit, education and policy sectors are encouraged to apply for the exclusive, five-session leadership development program, which begins Aug. 20 at 21c Museum Hotel in Bentonville. 

The program includes a leadership curriculum, one-on-one coaching, leadership lessons from industry giants in Arkansas and a personalized strengths portrait with advice on how to leverage strengths in crisis management, team building and conflict resolution.

The other scheduled speakers are:

  • Nabholz’s outgoing CEO, Greg Williams, and incoming CEO Jake Nabholz.
  • Seal Solar Co-Founder and President Heather Nelson.
  • Winthrop Rockefeller Institute CEO Marta Loyd.

Executives will speak on topics ranging from crisis management, servant leadership and best practices for hiring to creating and maintaining company culture and building a management team you can trust.

Fall dates for the program have been set. Classes will be held Aug. 20, Sept. 3, Sept. 17, Oct. 1 and Oct. 15. They are limited to 35 participants.

Tuition for the sessions is $3,250.
