Millennials Dominate Current US Generations, Data Shows



Millennials were the largest generation in the United States in 2020, at 72.26 million people, eclipsing the baby boomers’ 70.68 million.

Next comes the latest generation to be named, Generation Z, numbering 67.06 million Americans and comprising 20% of the population.

Gen Zs are the most racially and ethnically diverse of the generational cohorts.
