Walmart, Sam’s Club Stores Raise $1M for Arkansas Children’s

1 min read

Arkansas Children’s announced Wednesday that it has received more than $1 million raised by 157 Walmart and Sam’s Club locations nationwide, including Walmart’s corporate headquarters, during the retailers’ annual nationwide campaign.

The funds will be used for equipment and research, to sustain top therapy programs and to provide charitable care at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock and Arkansas Children’s Northwest in Springdale.

The campaign ran from June 28 to July 25. It encouraged customers and members to donate at the register, through Walmart.com and through the Walmart app.

In addition, these stores were the No. 1 fundraising group out of Walmart and Sam’s Club locations across the country.
