Chris Phillips Named SVP, CFO of Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau


Chris Phillips has been promoted to senior vice president of finance and administration and chief financial officer at the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau.

He joined the LRCVB in 2017, as its controller. Phillips stepped into the interim CFO role in July 2021.

Previously, he spent a decade in the hospitality industry, working with both the Little Rock Peabody Hotel and the Little Rock Marriott.

He has an economics degree from University of North Carolina, a culinary arts degree from Johnson and Wales, and an MBA from University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Phillips is also a Certified Public Accountant.

In addition, he serves at the local, state, regional and national level of the Boy Scouts of America. In 2020, Phillips received the Distinguished Service Award from the Boy Scouts’ national honor society as well.

A previous headline for this story incorrectly stated that Phillips had been named CEO.
