The Jones Center in downtown Springdale will have new leadership in 2022 as the center announced that longtime CEO Ed Clifford would move to a new role with the Jones Trust board of directors.

The center said that Terri Trotter would become the new CEO in early 2022. Trotter was the COO of the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville from 1998 to 2014.

Clifford joined the Jones Trust board in 2011 and was named CEO of the Jones Center the following year. The center said Clifford would work on developing the renovation of the Jones Campus Vision renovation project on the 52-acre campus that is being funded by a grant from the Walton Family Foundation.

The Jones Center is a 220,000-SF recreation center established by the trust in 1995; it offers community classes, an indoor ice skating rink and many other amenities. The Jones Trust was founded by northwest Arkansas philanthropists Harvey and Bernice Jones.
