Sarah Doss has been named executive director of the Downtown Jonesboro Alliance.
As head of the nonprofit group, she'll lead efforts to advocate for businesses in the downtown commercial district and seek out revitalization, fundraising and partnership opportunities. Doss succeeds Lindsey Wingo, who stepped down at the end of 2021 after four years in the role.
Doss previously oversaw community engagement for First Commercial Bank of Jonesboro. She holds years of experience in marketing, sales and customer service, the nonprofit said in a news release.
Doss, a native of Collierville, Tennessee, is actively involved on the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce board of directors, as well as Leadership Jonesboro, the Jonesboro Young Professionals Network, the A-State Committee, and the United Way of Northeast Arkansas’ Loaned Executive program.
Doss is a graduate of Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. She holds a bachelor’s in business administration with an emphasis in marketing.
