Nationwide hotel owner-operator MCR has purchased the Homewood Suites by Hilton in downtown Little Rock for $16.2 million.

The seller of the six-story hotel at 400 River Market Avenue was MHG Little Rock HM Ltd., an affiliate of McKibbon Hotel Group Inc. of Gainesville, Georgia. The date of the transaction was listed as March 2 on the Pulaski County assessor's website.

The 116-room hotel, which opened in 2015, is MCR's second in Arkansas. It features an outdoor pool and grilling area, a fitness center and meeting space.

MHG Little Rock bought the 1.07-acre site of the hotel for $2.25 million in 2014 from River Market South LLC, led by Jimmy Moses and Rett Tucker.
