America’s Car-Mart Inc. of Rogers has hired Brian Stone as the company’s executive vice president for procurement and inventory.
Stone will begin in the role on Monday. Stone spent 20 years with CarMax in a variety of executive positions including vice president of operations and vice president of strategy, mergers and acquisitions. Stone was also the co-founder and chief operating officer of Joyride, a ride-sharing startup.
“Brian is an effective and proven leader with a great reputation in our industry,” Car-Mart CEO Jeff Williams said. “His experience aligns well with our current initiatives regarding improvements through data analysis, reconditioning, inventory management, and leveraging industry partnerships, among other areas of focus.
