Ritter Communications of Jonesboro announced Wednesday a $2.6 million self-funded expansion of its RightFiber 1-gigabit-per-second broadband service to Newport.
Construction for the residential fiber-to-the-home project is projected to start in mid-April.
Other similar Ritter projects are underway across Arkansas; many are funded by grants awarded through the Arkansas Rural Connect program.
