Hendrix Recognizes 3 (Movers & Shakers)

Hendrix College in Conway has announced the following promotions: Bill Gunderson, director of the Hendrix Odyssey Program, and Kiril Kolev, associate provost for engaged learning.

Gunderson earned a bachelor’s degree in physics from Allegheny College of Meadville, Pennsylvania, and his Ph.D. in chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University of Pittsburgh.

Kolev graduated from Whittier College of Whittier, California, with a degree in economics, then earned his Master of Science and Ph.D. in comparative politics at Duke University of Durham, North Carolina.

Todd Tinsley, professor of physics at Hendrix College in Conway, has been named the 88th president of the Arkansas Academy of Science.


Evan Gitomer has been hired as chief revenue officer at Weldon Williams & Lick Inc. of Fort Smith. In this newly created role, Gitomer will oversee and develop the go-to-market team and strategy to support growth at the company.
