ERC Holdings LLC of Rogers is partnering with Mia Rose Holdings of St. Louis on an 152-unit apartment complex called PURE Lowell.

The companies plan to break ground on the development this month near the corporate headquarters of J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. in Lowell. Completion is expected in 2023.

ERC and Mia Rose are also partners in the 234-unit PURE Springdale apartment complex that is currently under construction.

“Our vision is to create a truly unique community that feels like a welcoming neighborhood where people can live, work, recreate and, most importantly, feel at home,” ERC President Rob Coleman said. “ERC’s first priority in planning any development is selecting a location that will be convenient to residents and complement the master plan of the surrounding city. PURE Lowell is positioned in the hub of all of the exciting growth happening in northwest Arkansas.”

Sharp Architects Inc. of Fayetteville is designing PURE Lowell, and Pick-It Construction of Fayetteville will be the general contractor. The six-acre complex will have 109 one-bedroom and 43 two-bedroom apartments totaling 115,000 SF, as well as a pool, fitness center and other amenities.

“The entire Mia Rose development team is excited about our second major development in northwest Arkansas which is part of our ‘49 Growth Plan’ to develop strategic multifamily sites along the [Interstate] 49 corridor that support the exciting growth in northwest Arkansas,” Mia Rose President Tom Kaiman said. “We have a great partnership lined up with Rob Coleman and the ERC team.”

A previous version of this story incorrectly stated when the project will break ground. It also incorrectly stated where Sharp Architects is headquartered.
