Abby Davis has been named director of athletics for Arkansas Tech University of Russellville. Davis had been interim director since 2019 and will be the first woman to serve as director of athletics at ATU. Additionally, the new director of the ATU honors program will be Georgeanna Wright. Wright is an assistant professor of health informatics and health information management as well as a graduate adviser. She earned her doctorate in health administration from the University of Phoenix.
John Brown University of Siloam Springs has appointed Rosemary Flaaten as the new executive director of the university’s Center for Healthy Relationships. Flaaten is an international speaker on healthy relationships and has taught as an adjunct professor at multiple private colleges in the U.S. and Canada.
Hendrix College of Conway has named two new members to its board of trustees. Heather Gardner, who recently co-founded the Women’s Leadership Endowment at Hendrix College, will serve a six-year term. The Rev. John Robbins will serve a three-year term in the seat created for United Methodist clergy.
