The Kum & Go convenience store in Farmington is changing hands again, this time for nearly $4.5 million, but now a local owner owns the keys.
Kevin Riggins of Fayetteville, the owner of Riggins Construction & Development, paid $4.45 million for the 4,950-SF facility on 1.8 acres at 90 East Main St. Riggins, a frequent investor in real estate in northwest Arkansas, bought the property through his Gunny’s Gas Gas LLC.
Mid-Missouri Bank of Mount Vernon, Missouri, provided a $3.3 million loan for the purchase. Riggins will become landlord of the convenience store, which has changed hands several times since Kum & Go’s parent company bought the land in 2014 for $135,500.
Kum & Go sold it to David Barker of Iowa City, Iowa, for $3.8 million in 2015. Barker sold it to a Goko LLC, subsidiary of Fidelity Financial Corp. of Wichita, Kansas, for $3.48 million in 2020.
