Memphis-based Soul Fish Cafe announced that it's closing its location on Main Street in downtown Little Rock after six years of business.
The restaurant said in a Facebook post that its lease is ending and it couldn't agree with property manager Doyle Rogers Co. of Little Rock on terms of renewal. Soul Fish's last day open will be Aug. 7.
"We thank everyone who has supported us over the past six years. We truly appreciate you," the post says. "To the other restaurants out there, we have an awesome crew who will be looking for work."
Soul Fish offers catfish, po’boy sandwiches and Southern sides. The site on Main Street was the chain's first location outside Memphis.
The 6,969-SF building's previous tenant was Dundee Smart Clothes, a men's clothing store.
Entities connected to Doyle Rogers have owned the building since 2002, when it was acquired for $150,000.
