Boyce Hamlet Named Arkansas Drug Director
Longtime law enforcement officer Boyce Hamlet has been named the state’s new drug director, effective Aug. 29.
He will work within the Arkansas Department of Human Services and replaces Kirk Lane, drug director since July 2017. Lane has accepted a job as director of the newly created Arkansas Opioid Recovery Partnership.
Hamlet previously served as chief criminal investigator for the 20th Judicial District prosecuting attorney and as director of the Enforcement Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control.
