Little Rock School District Superintendent Jermall Wright, who provided this week’s Executive Q&A, revealed last week that the district will soon hold a news conference to announce a major partnership between Baptist Health and Little Rock Southwest High School.
He said an academy at the school will be renamed the Baptist Health Academy of Medical Sciences as a result of this partnership. “This is a monumental and major accomplishment that will be a game changer for our students,” Wright said.
The district declined to release more details, and a Baptist Health spokesperson did not return a call from Whispers before press time.
