Stephens Inc. of Little Rock has added three executives to its financial institutions group, hires that bring a collective 60 years of experience to the firm.
Peter McCorry, Russell Gunther and Jake Morton have joined the company as managing directors. They will be based in Stephens’ New York office.
McCorry and Gunther joined Stephens from Montana-based D.A. Davidson Companies. Morton joined from Wells Fargo. All three served in similar roles at those firms.
“Pete, Russell or Jake would be amazing hires, individually, but bringing all three is a tremendous win for Stephens,” Nik Fisken, executive vice president and head of Institutional Equities and Research at Stephens, said in a news release. “Since the founding of Stephens more than 80 years ago, this firm has been a committed partner to financial institutions of almost every size and geography. Pete, Russell and Jake are fantastic executives with deep institutional knowledge across this sector and can drive new relationships as they help us innovate and grow revenue.”
McCorry held earlier positions with FIG Partners LLC of Atlanta, Compass Point Research & Trading LLC of Washington, D.C., and Citigroup. He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Oneonta.
