Arkansas Federal Credit Union (AFCU) is dedicated to helping its employees, members and its local communities.
The people-first approach inspires employees and members to get involved in their communities and local charities to make a difference. Because of this approach, the credit union has been able to contribute more than $2.9 million to local charities in the last 22 years.
Employees have many opportunities for their ideas to be heard. Whether it is through a monthly town hall or the internal IDEAS page, AFCU employees can voice concerns or highlight opportunities for improvement that the executive team takes seriously.
AFCU understands employees have demands on their time outside of work responsibilities and offers a number of time off policies that includes two weeks of paid parental leave for a birth or adoption for employees with a year or more of service. There are three days of paid funeral leave for the death of an immediate family member and a PTO Share program in which employees can donate their paid time off to employees without available PTO who are facing unexpected situations.
